Dear Community,

This morning, at Cold Spring School, our second graders didn’t just learn about history—they became history! 📖🏛️ Using AI-powered research tools like Kanmigo and Adobe Express to design their mini posters, these young scholars explored over 40 influential historical figures, deepening their skills in reading, writing, research, and critical thinking.

Through a seamless integration of English Language Arts, technology, and the arts, students:
🎭 Dramatized their historical figures in a living wax museum, bringing history to life.
📝 Drafted, edited, and published biographies, refining their writing skills.
🎨 Painted stunning watercolor portraits in art class to visually represent their chosen legends.
🎶 Performed the "Living Legend" song in music class, reinforcing their learning through melody.
📖 Engaged in research-based reading, using AI to enhance comprehension and discovery.

At the ding of a bell, our wax figures came to life, sharing their stories with family and friends! This multidisciplinary, AI-integrated project showcased the power of technology, creativity, and storytelling in education.

A huge thank you to our incredible students, dedicated teachers, and supportive families for making this experience truly legendary! 👏

My Best,

Dr. Alzina
