Every year, the fifth-grade students attend a three-day, two-night educational trip to the Catalina Island Marine Institute (CIMI). During the trip, students engage in a variety of hands-on labs and field activities in Marine Science and Island ecology.

Every year, the sixth-grade students attend a five-day, four-night educational trip to the Pali Institute near Lake Arrowhead and the San Bernardino mountains. During their trip, students participate in a Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accredited outdoor educational program.
