Every Year, the Cold Spring fourth grade families plan a weekend Family Camping Trip at Lake Lopez. Each Family reserves their own camping site and stays for either one or two nights. The camping adventure is filled with lots of community bonding, fishing, and campfire songs. Because the camping trip is scheduled on the weekend, it is not an "official" school-sponsored trip. It is an optional excursion for every family.
