Dear Community,
I had the pleasure of observing an exceptional third-grade music lesson with Ms. Di’Salvo, and I was blown away by her creativity and innovation in engaging our students! She used AI technology to personalize learning—creating a custom comic strip with LlamaGen.Ai and MagicSchool AI to hook students and make music even more fun and relevant to their world. It was incredible to see how excited students were to dive into rhythm and beat through storytelling!
Not only did she make music exciting, but she also seamlessly integrated third-grade math concepts—using pizza rhythms, symmetry, multiplication, and fractions to reinforce essential skills. Students wrote beats, created four-beat patterns, and engaged with hands-on activities like TinyTaps and Four Corners, making learning interactive and engaging for all.
