Chorus Students

KASC 33rd Honor Chorus Festival

On April 27th, eight of our choristers (Grace Pattison, Kaz Graham-Szopa, Fernando Plascencia, Ella Arconian, Makenzie Bloom, Kylee Denu, Ellie Kane, and Asher Wheeler) joined eight other school choruses for the Kodály Association of Southern California Honor Chorus Festival. The day included rehearsal with guest conductor Arie Lugo, and special cello, oboe, and vocal performances. Students enjoyed games, and participated in a concert with 125 student voices (grades 4-8) at Fullerton Union High School. Asher Wheeler and Fernando Plascencia were chosen as featured soloists in the Traditional Hungarian Folk Song “Tavaszi Szél Vizet Árast.”  Thank you, Ms. Di’Salvo, for your leadership!
