NEW EVENT!!!! Family Literacy Night and Dinner
Bilingual children’s author Leticia Ordaz will be conducting an all school literacy assembly during the school day on Friday, April 14th. During the assembly, every kindergarten student will receive a copy of her book, Macaw’s Palenta Adventure. Every first through sixth grade student will receive a copy of her book, the Carousel King.
After school, students will have an opportunity to meet the author and participate in a few fun outdoor literacy activities directed by a few classroom teachers from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Super Cucas Taco Dinner will be served immediately after the activities. DJ Gavin Roy will provide music from 4:00PM-6:00 PM. I can’t think of a better way to kick off Spring!
