The Green Team
Mission
The Green Team promotes environmental health and sustainability for the Cold Spring School Campus and surrounding community through education about and initiation of environmentally sustainable practices.
Vision
The Green Team envisions Cold Spring School reducing its ecological footprint, creating a healthy and non toxic school environment, and promoting engagement in environmental stewardship. We see schools as a microcosm of the larger society. We believe developing and basing our choices on an environmental ethic within the school culture will serve as a model for raising community environmental awareness and action. Coming together to find solutions to the ecological problems we face will radiate out into the broader community and be carried forward by our children as they develop into adulthood.
